This machine is mainly used for the assembly of U-shaped and box-shaped beams. The workpiece is placed on a platform made up of multiple roller tracks, and the upper and side pressure cylinders on the walking frame compress the web and flange of the workpiece. Spot welding is performed on the compressed sections, and the entire length of the workpiece is spot welded by moving the frame. After spot welding, the workpiece is conveyed through the roller track to the next process of root welding or electroslag welding.
