Cyprus Box-Girder Hydraulic Assembly Machine
This machine is primarily used for the assembly of box girders, including U-shaped and box-type subassemblies. The workpiece is placed on a workpiece support platform composed of multiple roller conveyors. Pressing cylinders mounted on the traveling gantry apply clamping pressure to the web and flanges of the workpiece, securing it in place. Spot welding is then performed on the clamped sections, with the gantry’s travel enabling spot welding along the entire length of the workpiece. Once spot welding is complete, the workpiece is conveyed via the roller conveyor to the next process—either root-pass welding or electroslag welding.
